Version françaiseTerms of service
These terms are an agreement between you and Signal Six Inc. ("Signal Six", "we"). They apply when you use signalsix.ai, the Signal Six app, our emails and Slack messages, or our Claude connector. If you use Signal Six for a company, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
The service, during the private beta
Signal Six watches the public activity of the competitors you track and tells you what changed and why it matters to you. Access is by invitation while we work with a small group of companies.
During the beta, features change often, some may be removed, and we don't promise any level of availability. We will tell you before a change that removes something you rely on.
Your account
Keep your sign-in secure, and tell us right away if you think someone else used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and the person who invites teammates is responsible for who they invite.
Your information stays yours
The information you give us about your company, including your profile, your strategy and your feedback, remains yours. You allow us to use it only to provide and improve Signal Six for you. We keep it confidential and handle it as our privacy policy describes.
Alerts, reports and other output we produce for you are yours to use inside your company.
Market data and the service are ours
Signal Six builds market data from public web pages and company social accounts: which companies exist, what they sell, what it costs, and what changed and when. That market data, our software, our methods and our brand belong to Signal Six. We use the market data to serve all our customers, and we keep it after an account closes. It never includes your company's private information.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, resell or redistribute the service or its market data outside your company
- use automated means to extract data from the service, other than our connector as designed
- reverse engineer the service, or try to reach data that isn't yours
- use the service to break the law, or to harass, spy on or profile individuals
- overload or disrupt the service
AI-generated content
Signal Six uses AI models to read sources and write alerts and reports. AI can be wrong. Each fact we report links to the page we read it on, so you can check it. Our analysis is an opinion to help you decide, not professional, legal or financial advice. Decisions you make with it are yours.
Other services
When you connect Signal Six to Claude, Slack or another service, that service's own terms also apply, and we are not responsible for it.
Fees
During the private beta, the fees and conditions are the ones we agreed with your company before you started. We will never charge you for something you didn't agree to.
If your company has a written agreement with us, that agreement prevails where it differs from these terms.
No warranty
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, without any warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Signal Six is not liable for indirect damages such as lost profits, lost data or lost business, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 Canadian dollars. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Signal Six at any time and ask us to close your account at [email protected]. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or end the beta, with reasonable notice when we can give it. When an account closes, we delete its information as our privacy policy describes.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we update the date at the top and tell you by email before an important change applies. If you keep using Signal Six after that, the new terms apply.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute goes before the courts of Quebec.
These terms are available in French and English. You asked to receive them in the language you are reading.
